This is what my week has looked like so far:
Full of tears, snot, coughs, fevers, and lots of snuggles. Frank started Friday with the flu. And it went downhill from there.
The bright side is, Frank was able to take a few sick days to rest up and help me. I am beyond grateful for the assistance he provided with taking care of everyone, especially since I caught the flu too. And especially for the doctor visit today. Kids hate being poked and prodded by the doctor anyways-add in the flu and its like poking an angry bear. They did well though. I was also able to run into some stores and do the grocery shopping real quick while he sat with the kids. Another blessing. Grocery shopping ALONE. Anyone who has tried to take a hungry, or whiny, or cranky, or sick, or hyper kid (whether it be one child or more) in a grocery store knows it is a job deserving of a gold medal. Whether you survive with things going relatively smoothly, or are crawling bruised and broken back to your vehicle. You have survived.
Thankfully, I seem to be feeling a bit better tonight and am hoping to get a decent night's sleep (actually, getting any sleep would be nice...) and start the day tomorrow feeling somewhat refreshed and ready to go.
With that said, I do pray everyone is feeling healthy tonight. Especially you, Momma. Take care of yourself.
